Welcome to THE Track - VMP BMX at the Virginia Motorsports Park!  VMP BMX is one of two currently-operating nationally-sanctioned BMX Racing facilities in the Greater Richmond Area in Central Virginia and one of five in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We provide a competitive, fun, and family-friendly BMX Racing experience with Races, Training, Practices, and Coaching activities sanctioned by USA BMX - The American Bicycling Association. This sanction agreement provides local racing members with immediate access to all BMX Racing courses in Virginia as well as across the United States and Canada, allowing them to compete at a wide variety of sites in local, regional, and national-level events. VMP BMX is located in North Dinwiddie, Virginia just a few miles south of the City of Petersburg, and centrally located in the Atlantic Region with nearby access to no less than six major interstate corridors. VMP BMX is hosted by the Virginia Motorsports Park and co-located on the 500-acre property with the VMP-MX and other VMP Dirt Park activities. This location provides our racers, parents and support crews, and spectators with access to a set of world-class facilities suitable for events of any size including full bath facilities with hot showers and plenty of parking. We hold races for local contestants and nearby travelers as much as possible on the Weekends and have events for Regional Travelers and Community participants on the schedule throughout the year. VMP BMX hosts Rider Development Coaching and Training sessions in coordination with our Weekend Events as well as during the week on a seasonal basis. VMP BMX can be open upon request many other times for Team Events, General Riding, or for YOUR Special Activity. While we are hosted on Private Land, VMP BMX operates as an all-volunteer activity managed by local racers, parents, and community-minded partners. We are always interested in your ideas, support, and involvement as we maintain and grow the sport of BMX Racing in Central Virginia. Come on out and check us out for yourself.
