STAR CITY BMX OPEN MEETING - January 23rd, 2022

 
We have both meeting rooms reserved at Gere Branch Library (2400 S 56th St, Lincoln, NE 68506)- when you enter, take your first right and the meeting rooms are down the hallway. The doors open at 12pm on Sundays so we will plan to begin at 12:15pm after set up.
REMINDER:
We are currently taking nominations for vacancies on the board. If you would like to be a part of the Star City BMX board, please send an email to starcitybmx@yahoo.com and include why you think you'd be a good fit! Voting of the new board member(s) will take place at the open meeting.
In addition, the executive position of Secretary will need to be selected by the board once the open meeting concludes. We would also like to add a person to assist with grounds maintenance. Please keep these positions in mind as you consider joining the board!
 
STAR CITY BMX BANQUET
☑️ What: Star City BMX Banquet
☑️ When: Friday, January 28th
☑️ Where: Isles Pizza Reception Hall, 6232 Havelock Avenue Lincoln, NE 68507 (Parking and entrance on the North of building)
☑️ Who: Anyone and everyone is invited!
☑️ Why: To celebrate the 2021 BMX season and provide an outlook on the 2022 Season 🎉🎉
❄️ Timeline:
5:30pm- Doors will open
5:30pm-10:30pm- Cash Bar will be available
6:30pm-8:00pm- Pizza buffet will be open (buffet includes salad, salad dressing, breadsticks, a variety of pizza and a non-alcoholic beverage)
8:00pm- Awards presentation will start
🍕 If you are interested in eating the pizza buffet for dinner, please RSVP no later than January 21st. The pizza buffet is $11/person. **You do not have to purchase a meal to attend the awards presentation**
