It is at these regional finals that racers of all ages and skill levels will be competing for the title of USA BMX Gold Cup champion. Winners of each age group will be awarded a Gold Cup jacket, a Gold Cup trophy and the prestigious Gold Cup No.1 numberplate (which the rider can then run on their bike until next years final).
Champions are easily recognized by the yellow background on their numberplates. Becoming a Gold Cup champion in USA BMX is a much sought-after, and highly respected accomplishment.
“When choosing locations for our three Gold Cup finals, we not only look for a great facility but also a solid partnership in tourism to promote the destination,” said USA BMX’s Chief Operating Officer John David. “USA BMX continues to work hand in hand with convention and visitors bureaus and sports commissions to bring a major bike racing competition to their town. We strive to make these events a pleasant and affordable experience for all of our participants.”
This series also could not be produced without the top-notch support of presenting sponsor, DK Bicycles of Dayton, Ohio, and the CVB’s from each stop. USA BMX and its members are looking forward to the season finales at the following locales:

There’s no better time than now to make plans to attend one, two or all three of the Gold Cup Finals Championships in Missouri, Georgia or California. To be in contention for the Gold Cup No.1 plate, USA BMX counts the best two scores from a local Gold Cup event, and adds them to a rider’s finishes from Saturday and Sunday, to determine the overall No.1 Champion, amd No.2 and No.3 title earners.
In the Open classes, USA BMX counts only your two finishes from the Finals weekend.
