My name is Avery Colwell. I have been racing for 3 years, my home track is Akron BMX, & I ride for The Nationals. In my free time I love to swim and ride my scooter on my half-pipe.
After breaking my neck at Dayton Indoor BMX in the spring of 2021, I am laying low and working on my recovery. I hope to get back on my bike in the fall and ride a few laps for fun. I'm not sure if I will return to competitive racing, but I will always be found around a track somewhere

My home track is Akron BMX, one of the best tracks in the country. In 2020, I accomplished #1 in the State in Cruiser and Class, #1 in the North Central Gold Cup series on Cruiser, and #3 in the North Central Gold Cup series in Class. I love to travel to other tracks to learn new skills and am enjoying racing the National Circuit. When not at the track, I enjoy riding street bikes at home and at the bike parks.
Will be one year riding on 8/23/15 and loving every minute of it. 12 year old novice, turned Intermediates 8/15/15 when he won 2 first place Nationals at Akron BMX Track
No Nice Racing Team
May 2017- 14 Intermediate and was asked to join the local Ohio YESS Factory team. Close to moving to Expert and working very hard. So excited to be apart of a Great team and move up with the YESS team. Huge thank you to Mike Spargrove and Lisa Motely for the opportunity.
Dec 2 2019 Going into the new year as a 17 expert, after shoulder surgery will be a new opportunity to grow more in the sport. Looking forward to a new start
