On May 24th Dane became the first World Champion of 2012 by winning the 6 Boys Class at the UCI BMX World Championships in Birmingham, England. In August he won the USA-BMX Western Divisional Championships, in October he won two Redline Cup Regional Championship titles and in November he won the Presidents Cup / Race of Champions (ROC) Championship and the highly coveted USA-BMX National Age Group (NAG) Championship for a total of 7 major championship titles. With only 3 months to prepare and get himself back up to a world class level, Dane went to Auckland, NZ in July to defend his World BMX title and did Team USA proud by winning every single heat, qualifier and the main event to become a 2-time, back to back BMX World Champion. In August, Dane earned his first Cruiser class title by winning the California State Championships in the 7 Cruiser Class. In September, Dane earned his 2nd Cruiser title by winning the Western Divisional National title in the 7 Cruiser class. I'm a 28 year old novice racer. Just began participating in October 2015. I am a father to a very active 3 year old, who is in the balance bike class. I enjoy being outdoors and staying active. I have raced off-road dirt racing for 6 years.

Hardesty Nationals 2022- 2nd and 1st!! Making a 20 year come back at 49 years old and Loving it! Ok, update. Turned intermediate!! Got my first first at Hardesty! 6/19/22! Update! 1/1/23!! Turned Expert!! SSBMX!! Becoming a USABMX coach.

Started BMX racing at The OKC Trosper Park BMX Track, back in 1977. Got Rad in the 80s on Freestyle bikes & Skateboards. Dug, Built, and Road Dirt Jumps at The Tulsa Riverside Trails 99-05 Now racing BMX again at Sand Springs BMX Track & Hardesty National BMX Stadium, as my home tracks. I also enjoy Custom 70s Vans, Skateboards, Dirt Bikes, 3 Wheelers, R/C vehicles, Art, ect....
