Riding for fun!
-
I started BMX around 5th grade. I started dirt jumping with my friends and quickly started to mimic the older riders and pushed myself. Eventually I started racing and did very well as a young teenager. I quit once I got a car and started driving, however in 2009 I was trying to get my son to ride without training wheels....I made the deal that I would get a bike and he would give up the training wheels. So it started again. We have been racing for several years now and currently operate on the Team Local Legend BMX crew. This is the place where I fit in with my aggressive riding style and dirt jumping roots.

Began racing NBL in 1999 when I was 14 yrs old. Quickly moved up to Expert & raced in that class from ’01-’03. Fall ’03 I moved to Myrtle Beach for college & unfortunately there was a very pour riding scene in that area. Life got busy & I rode/raced very little for about 12 yrs. After moving back to Raleigh, NC spring of ’15 I decided to start riding the local track. That fall I signed back up with USA BMX & shortly after was asked to join the track board. I agreed & became the 2016 season Track President for Capital City BMX in Raleigh, NC. Currently riding with Team Local Legend out of Raleigh. Flat Pedal Power!!

I'm a humble USN Vet. I'm a Factory MAYHEM/SYNDYT/BOX rider from Fayetteville, NC. My LifeSkills as a former USN FMF Corpsman and Bmx competitor have enabled me to help veterans control severe PTSD symptoms with bicycle therapy rides at the Cape Fear River Trail here in sunny Cumberland County. Any veteran is welcome to join when I'm not competing.

My son and I started BMX racing in April 2019 and are enjoying every minute of it! I'm thankful for our home track and how cool, helpful, and friendly everyone has been. Competition is tough, but the sportsmanship is awesome! My goal is to honor the Lord in everything I do! 1 Corinthians 10:31 See you at the track!
