My wife and I are the Track Operators at Peninsula Indoor BMX in Port Orchard, WA! We love BMX and all manner of things dealing with bicycles! I race in the 41-45 Intermediate class, and my immediate goal is to obtain 9 more wins before I turn 46 so I can race in the 46-50 Expert class next season!

Chris started racing BMX in 1980. Racing with his older brother Scott, his first national race was the IBMX race in the Pontiac Silverdome. Chris turned Pro in 1988 after high school which at that time, the NBL merged the B pro and A pro classes into one. He recalls his first pro race having to race Greg Hill was as a thrill and nightmare at same time. Chris retired from competitive BMX in 1993 only to return again a few years later before a 12 year hiatus. He returned again in 2012 a little older and wiser, but still with a love for the sport and entered the cruiser class for first time. He finished OH #7 that year. As he founded MotoUp in 2013, his days are spent more so on the sidelines managing his BMX team and business, although occasionally he will end up on the gate ready to MotoUp for fun.
