I participated in my 1st race on 6-18-21, it was Olympic Day. I remember feeling so nervous & scared, even telling myself "I can't believe you're doing this!". But at the end of the night, I realized I had a blast. It was so much fun. I had played softball most of my life, so this was something completely new to me.
I saw this and felt it applied to me...

I decided to stick around and continue with this sport. Over that 1st year I've met some amazing women and made new friends. The men have also been so awesome to me, I totally appreciate them too.
It's been quite a journey so far, and it's been awesome to share it all with my Husband (who is the person who got me into this sport) right by my side. Its cool that we both race and share these memories together.
