Michael was born to race. In fact, it’s in his blood. His Dad grew up in the BMX world of the 90’s and 00’s so it was only natural that Michael would enjoy the sport as much as he does. Joining USA BMX in 2019, Michael quickly progressed through Novice earning his first 10 wins in less than a year. At 10 Intermediate Michael has overcome adverse challenges such as racing Experts as well Intermediates older than him. He always maintains a positive attitude and looks for ways to personally challenge himself each time he hits the track despite the talent of his opponents. Off the track, Michael continues his training and practicing his skills at the Pump Track in Avondale, AZ as well as the dirt track in Estrella Mountain Ranch. Michael’s hard work and dedication to the sport did not go unnoticed, he was picked up by Sparta Racing for the 2021 season. Michael has made many new friends throughout the BMX community and is building great relationships to last a lifetime with his fellow Sparta Racing teammates. Michael is a fifth grader in the Litchfield Elementary School District and in his off time, he enjoys taking road trips with his family, riding his scooter and skateboard, playing video games, and hanging out with his fellow BMX friends. Michael continues to grow on and off the track and is looking forward to a great 2021 racing alongside his Dad, younger sister, Emily, and his Sparta Racing Teammates! My name is Olive Leue and I just started racing in September 2020 at the age of 5. I have just finished my first season of BMX and love the sport. I am part of Sparta Racing and enjoy racing and hanging out with all my teammates.. I like playing soccer, gymnastics and hanging out with my family when I am not racing. I am so excited to see what the 2021 season brings. **Update 1/15/2021** I won my 10th race and have now moved up to Intermediate. My first Intermediate race was 1/17/2021 and I finished 3rd. **Update 4/1/21** Moved to 6 girls expert class. I am so excited to be a part of the girls club and race only girls. I completed my first national race under 6x and finished 8th, 8th and 7th.

Emily started BMX as a way to fight off boredom at the track while her Dad and older brother were racing, and is she glad she did! With her first win under her belt and a new found determination and drive, this 8 Novice is ready to race. Off the track, Emily enjoys spending time with her Dad and older brother at the Pump Track in Avondale, AZ as well as the dirt track in Estrella Mountain Ranch. Emily’s commitment to the sport was realized by Sparta Racing and she was picked up for their 8 Novice position for the 2021 season. Emily has made many new friends throughout the BMX community and is building great relationships to last a lifetime with her fellow Sparta Racing teammates. Emily is a third grader in the Litchfield Elementary School District and enjoys arts and crafts, riding her scooter, and hanging out with her friends.
