I was born and raised in the South Jersey area. In 1986, I was 9 years old, when I first saw the movie Rad. I instantly knew I had to get involved in BMX. I got a bike that Christmas and started going to my local track in Mullica Hill. I continued to compete locally until 1994. At this time I had to step away from the sport to pursue my automotive career. I always knew one day I would come back to the sport that I loved.
In 2014, 20 years later, my family and I moved to Palm Beach County, Florida where I found our local track, Okeeheelee BMX. It started with me buying a bike for my 8 year old daughter, then for my 10 year old, my wife, then myself. It has become something we all love to do as a family. After being off the bike for over 20 years I wasn't really sure how it would go but I knew that I loved and missed the sport so I was ready to get back on the track. I give 110% every time that gate drops and continue to work hard and push myself. I now race every local race I can, about 10 a month. This year I came in 1st place in our Florida SSA Series for my age group and 2nd In the state in our SCR series. In 2017 I am planning to race on a National level and I couldn't be more excited to get this season started...
