Our company is founded on emotion and soul, what does that mean exactly. My name is Greg Hill, owner and founder of GHP BMX, LLC. I began riding bicycles at the age of 3 in my neighborhood in Santa Ana, California. I would never have guessed that riding a BMX bicycle would be a lifelong love affair. My bike gave me total freedom and pleasure to be who I wanted to be, riding all over, jumping curbs, riding with friends, and eventually entering my first race back in September of 1974 at Western Sports Arama in Orange County. Now, at 51 years of age I can honestly say that riding my bike has literally saved my life, keeping me out of trouble and away from the wrong crowds as a young kid and for this I am grateful..SOUL, you may be thinking what is that. SOUL is when your company lives breathes and sustains itself by virtually living the life not just building a frame and telling people it's better than everyone else's.
I have spent my entire life on a BMX bicycle, worked for many of the companies that still exist today, raced on the highest level possible winning 5 Pro World titles and being inducted into the 4 BMX/Bicycle related Hall of Fames, no other rider in BMX history can say this. No other frame company has my BMX background and experience! When you ride a GHP, you're riding a piece of BMX history, and again, you're not going to be doing that on other brands. That is my definition of SOUL.
