Silver Dollar BMX intends to build a world-class BMX track on a bigger property creating a unique, incomparable, attractive facility that offers every level of riding from beginner to competition level. Future plans upon completion include opening our track to beginning level mountain bike riding and special needs activities.

Having a new bigger track allows for more riders to practice on a variety of straightaways, turns, and obstacles preparing them for races at other BMX facilities. Our hope is to become a premier BMX destination in Northern California. Relocating SDBMX will allow us to increase organizational and physical infrastructure and continue to provide programs to existing riders while marketing to increase rider participation.

For over the past 30 years, Silver Dollar BMX (SDBMX) has aimed to serve the community of Chico and surrounding areas in Butte County by offering infrastructure and programs related to the sport of Bicycle MotoCross (BMX). SDBMX serves the community by providing a family-friendly facility and an alternative option to team sports. SDBMX is a non-profit operated entirely by volunteers. The track primarily serves youth, ages 2 - 20, although the track and access to the sport is open to all ages. Skill level of riders ranges from novice (beginner) to expert, with past and current riders participating in State, National and World races. SDBMX is a sanctioned BMX organization through the parent organization, USA BMX.
