Director of Volunteers
We still need a Director of Volunteers! Are you a great organiser? Want to help out at the track? We are looking for someone to coordinate our volunteers at practice sessions and races. Please see Tara for a full explanation of the duties and to apply.
Victoria Day Parade - calling all Victoria BMX riders
Riders will assemble in Section D Entry #72 located on Finlayson by Dodds Furniture. Please be there no later then 9:30am. Our float will be there well in advance to see.
For drop off, please use the Blanshard street entrance to Mayfair Mall and proceed to the ToysRUs store entrance area. Drop off only - no parking at this location.
As we are promoting Victoria BMX, we encourage all riders who have the Victoria BMX T-shirts that were given out at our first race to wear them over any other long sleeve garment.
There will be a few available for those who did not attend the first race to borrow. We really would like to promote our club with as many riders as possible being in the same colours.
Parade Route is along Douglas. We ask that riders 10 and under have an adult walk the route with them and those 11 and up have an adult meet them at the end of the parade which is in front of the Convention Centre on Douglas Street.
IMPORTANT - Parents are responsible for meeting their children at the end of the parade route. We cannot be responsible for getting anyone back to the start location.
First aid supplies
We are looking for donations of first aid supplies e.g. blankets, bandaids, ice packs etc. All donations gratefully received.
Local points
Don't forget you keep track of your local points on our website: http://victoriabmx.com/pages/1820.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!
