Racing & Practice this week

We have our regular Tuesday race this week.  Being the last race of the month, it's a Trophy Race!  Instead of a trophy you can get Track Bucks

  • 1st place -$3
  • 2nd place - $2
  • 3rd place - $1

Track Bucks can only be used in the Snack Shack.

We then have the Provincial Qualifier weekend of 4 races in 2 days!! This is a race series that entitles any rider in the province to earn a provincial plate. The riders must complete four races plus the final championship to earn a plate. Each district holds 4 provincial qualifiers in which a rider is allowed to race. Points are taken from the 4 highest qualifier races plus final championship (i.e. if you race 6 races they will take top 4 scores).

As it is a double point race, the fees are $15 for point classes and $10 for striders & half trackers.  No discounts or passes may be used.

We need lots of help to run this busy race!  Please sign up here for the positions needed.

We are running practice on Thursday this week.  The first hour will be for half trackers and striders - the remaining time will be full track only. Don't forget your toonie!  At 7pm, we will gather by the picnic tables for a "New parent to BMX info session".  Gather by the picnic tables and bring your questions!

Work Party this week

We will be running a work party this week to do some housekeeping and to beautify the track ready for the PCR.  Duties to include track lining, weed whacking, raking, mowing etc.  Stay tuned to Facebook for details!

You can view your District points on the BMX Canada website here and read the membership FAQs including how points are reconciled and added here.  Please remember it is the parent or rider's responsibility to track the total number of wins and notify us if your rider has completed their 10 wins as a novice or 20 wins as an intermediate.
