2025 Track Champion Awards

1. Points will be scored for each local single race held during the posted track points season.
2. Points will be awarded in the following categories, regardless of rider proficiency levels:

• Overall Track Champion (all ages & proficiencies, except Balance Bike)
• Girls 10 & Under
• Girls 17 & Under
• Women 18+
• Boys 10 & Under
• Boys 17 & Under
• Men 18-54
• Masters 55+
• Balance Bike

3. Points will be awarded based on main moto finish:
   1st – 18 points                       5^th – 14 points
   2^nd – 17 points                       6^th – 13 points
   3^rd – 16 points                       7^th – 12 points
   4^th – 15 points                       8^th – 11 points
   Any racer not making their main – 10 points
4. The same amount of points are awarded for all proficiency levels (i.e. Novice, Inter, or Expert).
5. A rider must race in at least 12 races at Brighton BMX in order to qualify for year-end awards.
6. Year-end awards will be given to the top rider per class, as defined in #2 above, at the Annual Brighton BMX Banquet.
7. The single rider with the overall highest point total will be recognized as the “Brighton BMX Track Champion.”  The award for this rider is 5 free single-point local races, 1 free Brighton BMX State Qualifier Entry and Free practices at Brighton BMX for the entire 2026 Season.
