  • Getting into Gear for 2017!

Crown Mountain BMX is entering into its 5th racing season and we have some exciting news and changes we'd like to announce!  Firstly, we would like to thank Yvette and Kiko Trincado for their years of hard work and dedication to the track. Without a doubt, their enthusiasm and commitment has helped build the track to what it is today. As Yvette and Kiko step back from operating Crown Mountain BMX, we wish them the best and hope to see them at the races! We would like to welco...

  • 2016 Season is here!

Mile High Nationals were just held this past weekend at Grand Valley BMX and our riders are now psyched to get on the track!  We had a big delay this spring with the Metro Water District deciding to release water on May 2nd, 2016 - this was meant to be our first clinic and gate practice of the season, but without controlled water the track is not ready! The park is urging their irrigation vendor to please come and get it turned on so that we can race our scheduled season opener on Wed...

  • Rebuilt Track is Amazing!

CM BMX hired track builder extroidinaire, Eric Bress, to come in and redesign and rebuild our track in late June.  Five days later, we have the track of our dreams!  It's big, fast and jumpy.  But forgiving, rollable, and pumpable.  If you can't navigate these forgiving features, take a clinic.  Learn from our pros and progress your racing to the next level.   The track has changed shape and direction.  It's much faster and no longer rides uph...

  • Winter Update

The track is still covered with snow and we are seeing a warm winter here in the valley.  We've started our fund raising efforts to accomplish a few things at the track:  a complete rebuild (minus starting hill); reinforce starting hill with a retaining wall to deal with erosion issue; add portapotties on site for the entire summer; purchase bleachers; provide a shade structure near the finish line; eventually cover staging/top of starting hill; provide a dedicated place for reg...

  • State Qualifier Race Success!

We held our first ever state qualifer race on Saturday, August 9, 2014.  We had 204 riders and 46 motos.  Our biggest race yet!   Registration was from 11:30 - 1:30, allowing plenty of time for riders coming in from around the state to get to us.  The USA BMX website gave the times as 11 - 1, and we apologize for the inconvienience.  We opened up registration just after 11 am to accommodate those waiting.  We had final motos posted and racing began at 2:15 pm....
