WEEKLY EVENTS

ONE DAY TRIAL MEMBERSHIP

If you've never participated in any of our events, you'll need a membership to try it out, luckily we offer free one-day BMX Canada and Cornwall BMX Club memberships valid for any Local Single Point Race or Gate Practice (sorry they don't apply to our clinics or our charity races). Just fill out this form and then sign up for a Gate Practice or Race!

Don't forget to select "Cornwall BMX" as the track hosting the event, and to also read and fill out the complete form including the correct date of the event.

 

 

RACE DETAILS:

Race Fee: $12 per Class;
Race Awards: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes

On-site registration will be accepted.
On-site registration and practice will be available on race day from 5:15PM to 6:00PM.
Striders/Balance Bikes have the track exclusively from 6:00PMto 6:15PM
Racing Starts at 6:15PM
Valid BMX Canada License is Required. Free one day trials are only available to riders who have never participated in any of our or other BMX Canada sanctioned events.

 

COACHING CLINCS AND LESSONS

Programs: L2RIDE

Learn to Ride (L2RIDE) – This program is designed specifically for new riders to teach the basic skills needed for BMX Racing. 

Tuesdays from 6:00PM to 7:30PM starting Tuesday May 30th 2023

Pre Registration required as limited spots are available $195.00 per rider with discount available for additional family memebers:

Program Includes:

  • BMX Canada Memebership
  • 5 Learn to ride clinics (once per week)
  • 5 Local races (excluding provincial qualifier)

Participants must be able to pedal a bike and will require the following equipment:

  • Bike (any kind, but BMX is preferred) with no pegs, no kickstands, and any reflectors that stick out of the bike must be removed.
  • Full Face Helmet
  • Long pants, Long sleeved shirt and gloves.

The Learn to Ride program will focus on:

Sitting/Standing, braking, cornering, wheel lifts, gate starts and basic BMX skills on the track.

 

 

GATE PRACTICE

For riders of all ages and skill levels, including brand new riders.
An opportunity to practice and train on our starting gate and enjoy some music while riding the track in a fun and non-competitive environment. A great opportunity to pick-up and work on some BMX racing skills and get used to riding the track.
 
Wednesdays from 6:00PM to 7:30PM.

$6 per session – FREE ONE DAY TRIAL MEMBERSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE
Participants must be able to pedal a bike and will require the following equipment:
• Bike (any kind, but BMX is preferred) with no pegs, no kickstands and any reflectors that stick out of the bike must be removed.
• Full Faced Helmet
• Long pants, Long sleeved shirt and gloves.
• Valid BMX Canada Licence or One Day Trial required *Remember to pick Cornwall BMX as your home track!

CLINIC, PRACTICE AND RACE DAY:

• We need volunteers to assist with Gates, and corners. Please see us at the track if you’re able to help out.
