THE CORNWALL BMX CLUB TRACK WILL OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE THIS SATURDAY.
After working closely with the City of Cornwall’s staff and administration, and the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, we are happy to announce that the track will be open to the public starting Saturday July 4th, provided all track visitors follow these Provincial and Local COVID-19 Guidelines:
PLEASE STAY AT HOME IF:
You are sick or suspect you may have COVID-19;
You have:
• A fever;
• A new cough;
• A worsening cough;
• Shortness of breath;
• A hard time breathing;
• A sore throat;
• Difficulty swallowing;
• A decreased or loss of sense of taste or smell;
• Chills;
• Headaches;
• Unexplained fatigue/malaise/muscle aches;
• Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain;
• Pink eye;
• A runny nose or nasal congestion without other known causes;
You’ve traveled outside of Canada in the last 14 days;
You have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 without wearing PPE.
NO MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE IN THE TRACK AREA AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
Please wait until the correct number of people have left before entering the area.
MAINTAIN A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 2 METRES (6 feet) FROM OTHERS.
Proper social distancing is effective at reducing the spread of the virus.
GLOVES AND FACEMASKS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Long-fingered biking gloves and full-face helmets are acceptable but they must be properly worn at all times while in the track area.
NO SHARING OF GLOVES, BIKES OR HELMETS.
The virus travels easily from person-to-person by sharing items that are not properly sanitized.
BRING YOUR OWN HAND SANITIZER.
There are no cleaning stations at the track.
THERE ARE NO WAHSROOMS AT THE TRACK.
Please follow these guidelines or the track may be forced to re-close until restrictions are further lifted.
THE TRACK IS UNSUPERVISED AND YOU RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The Executives or Members of the Cornwall BMX Club are not responsible for any harm or damages that may be caused by attending, or riding the track.
The track will be opened from 10:00am to 8:00pm daily (weather permitting).
